Nursery Round Up 21 March 2025

Nursery

The Nursery children have been making the most of the lovely spring weather this week, enjoying picnics in the garden, exploring nature, and taking part in plenty of outdoor activities.

Cottontails started the week by celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, creating their own rainbow pictures, and exploring a green-themed sensory tray. They then focused on the book The Tiger Who Came to Tea, where they had fun “feeding the tiger,” making their own tiger masks, and setting up a tea party role-play area to bring the story to life.

In Puddleducks, the children have been learning about dental care with a dentist role-play area, where they practised brushing their teeth, created marks with toothbrushes in paint, and discussed how to look after our teeth. They also explored colour-sorting activities, played with exciting sensory trays, and took walks around the College, spotting signs of spring along the way. The children have particularly enjoyed the outdoor play opportunities, strengthening their gross motor skills on the bikes, climbing frames, and obstacle courses while making the most of the fresh air and sunshine.
