Teams from Years 3 – 6 took part in an orienteering competition on Tuesday at Mendip Outdoor Centre. Teams of 3 pupils from each year group completed some navigation training in the morning before taking part in an orienteering competition in the afternoon. Pupils were let loose around the grounds with a map and compass to navigate the course as fast as they could, visiting 10 checkpoints along the way.
The Queen’s teams did fantastically well:
Year 3 2nd place
Year 4 3rd place
Year 5 4th place
Year 6 1st place
The teams were all then treated to a tobogganing session on the artificial ski slope!
