Despite the unpredictable weather, which posed its challenges, the spirit of the day remained undamped, thanks to the unwavering support of the community and the resilience of the house student athletes.
The hockey and netball matches were nothing short of spectacular, with each house displaying skill, determination but most importantly the value of sportsmanship. From nail-biting moments of suspense, teams rallying around for goal keepers who were enticed by the ice cream van or a final send off for our Year 13 students looking to add additional flair to their game as their conclude Hockey at Queen’s, the day was filled with memorable highlights that will be cherished for years to come.
But Super Saturday was more than just a showcase of athletic prowess; it was a celebration of community spirit and togetherness. The sidelines were lined with enthusiastic supporters, braving the weather to cheer on their friends, classmates, and loved ones.
