What a show! Last weekend audiences were treated to a performance of dance, music and drama that spanned the course of the British Monarchy. With a record number of over 120 students participating from Reception to Year 13, there was a variety of performance styles to keep audiences entertained. From Hip Hop to Ballet, a String Quartet to an Oboe Solo and LAMDA pieces galore, there was something to tickle everyone’s fancy within SIXTY.
The pupils worked extremely hard throughout the course of the Autumn Term in preparation for the show and we are so pleased that all of their hard work shone through. The pupils demonstrated the technique and performance styles that are focal learning points within their regular lessons, in addition to adding to their ever growing knowledge of stagecraft and performance experience. All of the teachers are immensely proud of all the work that the students showcased this past weekend and we hope that all of the parents, teachers and friends who came to support them enjoyed the show as much as we did!
As ever, a big thank you to all the staff involved and well done to all of our lovely students!
