Nursery Update 3 July 2024

Posted: 3rd July 2024

It has been another busy week at Highgrove Nursery with the children enjoying being outside and learning new things.

Cottontails have been reading ‘Animal Boogie’ and have been enjoying moving their bodies to music and dancing with the scarves. Some of the cottontail children are just beginning to walk and have taken great delight in cruising around the furniture or walking between the adults.

Tiggywinkles have been busy learning about animals through their book ‘Dear Zoo’.They have been following instructions by moving like different animals whilst also learning about sharing and taking turns on the bikes and trikes in the garden.

In Puddleducks the theme has been transport, with the children making a train out of a large cardboard box and also marking out a large train on the grass. The children also enjoyed a game of sound lotto where they had to guess the different environmental sounds.
