On Sunday, Queen’s proudly hosted the West of England Rugby 7s tournament for the U14 age group, welcoming 16 prestigious rugby schools to battle it out for the Cup, Plate, Shield, and Bowl honours. With three immaculate pitches in action and a backdrop of glorious spring sunshine, the stage was set for a fantastic day of rugby.
Queen’s faced a tough pool draw, taking on strong opposition in fiercely contested matches. Despite some narrow defeats, the team delivered brilliant moments of individual skill, showcasing their potential on home turf. Max impressed with his explosive pace, bursting over the line for a superb try, while Felix and Jayden combined brilliantly with slick handling to set up some thrilling attacking play.
The tournament was a true celebration of school rugby, with competitive matches, sportsmanship, and an electric atmosphere throughout the day.
